Our founding partner and General Manager, Sonia Malena Alva Rodriguez, with twenty years of professional experience in the areas of Corporate Law, Bankruptcy Law and Financing Operations. Graduated from the Master in Business Law Program of the Graduate School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and has postgraduate studies in “Contract Modalities in the New Economy” at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Castilla University La Mancha in Toledo, Spain.

She has participated in bankruptcy proceedings in all areas, as he has represented the actors in their different roles:

• Regulatory role:  Bankruptcy Procedures Commission (2000-2003) and Indecopi Competition Defense Chamber in bankruptcy matters (2009-2012). She participated directly in the bankruptcy proceedings of Andina de Radiodifusión, Empresa de Transporte Aéreo del Perú S.A., Compañía de Aviación Faucett, Doe Run Perú S.R.L
• Creditor role: Bankruptcy Advisory Head of the Legal Department of Banco Wiese Sudameris, today Scotiabank Perú S.A.A. (2004-2009). She participated directly in the discussion and approval of the restructuring plans of Textil San Cristóbal S.A., Manufacturera de Papeles y Cartones del Perú S.A., Pesquera Hayduk S.A., Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú S.A.A., Corporación Andina de Distribución S.A. (CARSA).
• Debtor role: Administrator or Liquidator in her capacity as General Manager of Alva legal. At this stage she conducts the restructuring and liquidation processes that she is responsible for as Cooperativa Agroindustrial Naranjillo S.R.L., Frutos Costeños del Perú S.A., Negociación Lanera del Perú S.A. in Liquidation, Productos del Sur S.A. on sale.
